52 Fun DATES!

Well as if the Decision Dice and Table Topics weren't enough.. Vlana has done it again!
We just received two GREAT new table top books! They are little books for dating couples and married ones. I don't know about anyone else out there but it is a task to think of something fun and different to do with your man! Personally, I was interested in the ideas for Dating couples. Being a young 20 something myself it is always interesting to see what the response will be of the fellow date com padre when you suggest something different for "Date Night". I don't know if it is that guys just feel that dinner and drinks never get old. Or starting out " Date Night" with plans to have some quality time together, and ending "Date Night" with the boys watching the NBA Finals is the perfect night. We ladies love to make our men happy and watching "the game" most of the time is A'OK. HOWEVER, we also like to do the girly thing and maybe have a picnic, or go for a walk in the park, or maybe go see a "chic flick".( SIN WORDS in man world) So long story short I have decided to grace the world of blogging with just a few little fun ways that BOTH parties should enjoy. (even if he doesn't say so he probably really enjoys "chic flicks" and walks in the park)
1. Alphabet Date: Simple yet entertaining. Put all the letters in a hat and draw out one letter. This will determine what you will be doing for the rest of the evening. Everything that you do on your date will begin with this letter. For example, if the letter is "m," you will go to a museum or a movie. You can make this as interesting or as simple as you want! Personally, I would probably take it to the extreme and have EVERYTHING including dins, drinks, etc. start with the chosen letter!
2. Antique Car show: Cars, Colors, Flames, Music, what better than to check out the sweet vintage rides and AWESOME flame detailing! No matter what age bracket you fall into this should be a great way to spend an evening. Here in Fargo, there is an event like this called "Cruise Night", every 1st Thursday of the month in Downtown, on Broadway. (where our store is perfectly placed) It always attracts a decent crowd and always has music and food in the US Bank Plaza. Check out the sweet rides and fun shops downtown!
3. Engage in Friendly Competition: Find out who has a hidden talent, or who is the most competitive. You could go bowling, play pool, Minnie Golf, or hit the batting cage for some fast pitches! Put some bets on the deal by suggesting loser pays for DQ afterward, or winner gets to pick the next movie you go to. Make it interesting! The key to this date is to remind yourself it is just a game, keep it lighthearted and fun!
